Thanksgiving is three weeks from today. Now is the time to bring out the comfy pants and prepare them for a stretching. Now is also the time to start thinking about what you’re thankful for. Believe it or not, Thanksgiving is actually a time to give thanks and not just the day you eat until you pop and fall asleep on the couch with your mouth open.
So it’s in the true spirit of Thanksgiving that I mention a few of the things that I am thankful for this year.
What’s on your list?
I am THANKFUL for…
… being fired in February; it was traumatic and the time but looking back, it was clearly a godsend.
… being able to have the opportunity to not have a real job since then, so I won’t be kicking myself in the butt ten years from now, thinking how I should’ve taken time for myself while I really could
… the support of my loved ones while I go through this difficult time
… a roof over my head
… a working car
But most of all, I am thankful for…
… being alive so I can be thankful! (I know it’s cheesy, but it’s true.)
