If Anna Nicole Smith was alive, she would be turning 40 years old today. I remember looking at her Guess jeans posters and wondering what she would look like at 40. But thanks to Howard K. Stern and other toxic people in Anna Nicole’s life, we will never know.
With all the insane chaos surrounding the aftermath of Anna Nicole’s death, it can be easy to forget what Anna Nicole Smith was really all about, and who she really was deep down inside – where she was Vicki Lynn Hogan.
We can argue about who or what killed Anna Nicole until our faces turn blue, but I bet we can all agree that she loved her children. Perhaps more than life itself.
This is what Anna Nicole Smith was really all about…
While I was doing some Anna Nicole Google hunting, I happened upon a transcript from Anna’s appearance on Larry King Live in May of 2002. The following quote is from that interview, at a point when Anna and Larry were discussing Anna’s relationship with J. Howard Marshall; Larry was asking Anna about her attraction to Marshall. I actually think her words say a lot about who she was at her core – a woman who lived a tough life and just wanted to be loved and respected simply for who she was.
I wasn’t physically, oh, my God, you hot, hot body, you know, like that. It was just I loved him for so much of what he did for me and my son. I mean, I just loved him so — I’ve never had love like that before. No one has ever loved me and done things for me and respected me and didn’t care about what people said about me. I mean, he truly loved me and I loved him for it.

I hope Vickie Lynn Hogan has found peace. Happy birthday.
It’s so sad. I’m sure if she were alive today, she would want to know what killed her son Daniel.
I don’t know how either one of them died. Only that drugs were involved and Howard K. Stern was with both of them when they passed.
There’s money, drugs, family feud, and sex involved in the never ending saga of Anna Nicole Smith. I hope for the safety of DannieLynn. That poor child has endured so much already in her short life. I want those who committed wrongdoing to pay the consequences of their actions.
I hope you’ve found peace, Vicki Lynn and Daniel. May Justice and Truth prevail.
