Do you ever have one of those days where you come home from work and you don’t want to do anything but stare at the wall? You’re not feeling well, but you’re not exactly sick either – just a little “off.”
That’s me today. I can’t really put my finger on it, but I just don’t feel well. I’m tired – not sleepy, but tired. My back hurts too. I hope I’m not coming down with something. My boss brought her sick kid in last Friday – he better not have given me cooties!
Today I came home from the office, sat on my couch, then laid on my couch. It’s amazing how much better you feel after laying down with your eyes closed for a few moments.
If laughter is the best medicine, this will cure me for sure…
Fun facts about Jim Breuer:
His first attempt at a television role was in 1995, when he starred in the ill-fated ABC pilot Clerks, based on Kevin Smith’s independent film.
Jim is known for his low-slung eyelids, blood shot eyes, and smoker’s laugh – which makes people think that he is under the influence all of the time.
In 1997 Jim was offered his first film role in the stoner-comedy Half-Baked. Despite the limitations of the role, he won praise for giving a believable impression of someone that is stoned.
He was booed off of the stage in August 2003 at the University of Washington Seattle campus freshman orientation ceremony. The audience believed that he was under the influence of drugs & alcohol, when his routine took an off-color turn.
Jim co-hosted the High Times magazine ‘Stony Awards’ with Snoop Dogg in 2002.
**In case you were wondering, I purposefully did not do a post on Britney Spears today – no reason to give myself more to be sick over. I’ll visit our favorite bipolar pop star tomorrow.
