So sorry for missing you yesterday. As you know, I am in the process of moving from one town to another. My computer and internet connection is still at the old house, so each evening I go there to work on my site. Well, last night I drove all the way to the house and realized I forgot the keys. I took it as a sign to take the night off. So I did.
I’m sure you’ve heard that Matthew McConaughey and his gorgeous girlfriend had a baby boy on Monday (the same day Nicole Kidman had a girl). I guess I have to take this as a solid sign that there is no chance for me and my Matthew. Oh well, it probably wouldn’t have worked out anyway – I don’t like smelling like sweat. On a high note though, I really like the name Matthew and Camila chose.
… “Levi” is another name for the apostle Matthew in the Bible. “They were, in fact, two names for the same person,”…
Said McConaughey: “This particular ‘time’ represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in the Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'”
The boy’s middle name, Alves, is after McConaughey’s 24-year-old girlfriend. “We wanted to incorporate her family name,” he explained.
In related celebrity baby news, Jamie Lynn Spears is once again on the cover of OK! Magazine – this time showing off the baby she announced she was having the last time she was on the cover. Is it just me, or does the fact that Jamie Lynn probably would not have been on the cover of either issue had she not been an un-wed teenage mother sit funny with you? I mean, doesn’t that glorify teen pregnancy just a bit? I don’t know, maybe not; maybe I’m just getting old.
In an interview with OK!, the 17-year-old Jamie Lynn said she had been nervous about giving birth “but it all fell into place. I was right on schedule. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”
Jamie Lynn said watching Aldridge, a pipe-layer from Liberty, Miss., hold Maddie for the first time “was the coolest thing. … He was so happy, and that made me the happiest person alive.”
