Super Bowl Commercials 2009 – Top SuperBowl Commercials

I’ve known for awhile that my taste in humor is a little off the norm. But it wasn’t until today that I started thinking my humor is a little too off. Not that I care, of course; I crack myself up and that’s all that really matters.

Anyway…..my main point is that the SuperBowl commercials I enjoyed the most weren’t necessarily the favorite Super Bowl commercials of others.

According to the USA Today Super Bowl Ad Meter (which is a fancy name for poll) the “Free Doritos” commercial was worth a million dollars. It was the one with the crystal ball…you can watch it at Hulu.com. The cool part about this Super Bowl commercial beating out all the others is that it was a fairly low budget ad created by brothers Dave and Joe Herbert, and the winner of the Doritos “Crash The Super Bowl,” for which they won $50,000. So basically they made a really simple Super Bowl commercial and won a butt load of cash. Nice.

The winning SuperBowl commercial may have been prize worthy but it wasn’t one of my favorite. Here’s a list of my Top 7 Super Bowl commercials. I would have done a top 10 list but I don’t like the number 10; I like 7.

7. Budweiser: Clydesdales Stick

6. Coke Zero: Mean Troy

5. Pepsi: Refresh Anthem

4. Pepsi Max: I’m Good

3. Cash4Gold.com: Heeere’s Money

2. Bridgestone: Taters

1. Cheetos: Chester the Cheetah

Those were my favorite Super Bowl commercials. Which ones did you like?
