Gene Simmons Gives Big At Wonderwall.com Rally For Kids With Cancer

This post is dedicated to my mom, who in her most loving way possible, told me she doesn’t really care about my chosen life of Hollywood gossip. It’s really the vapid part of it all she doesn’t care for, she was quick to add; when celebrities do good things for the world, then she cares.

Did I mention my mother has been in the Social Work field for longer than I’ve been alive?

Yeah, so she’s all about the little man and giving back to society.

Last Saturday was the Wonderwall.com Rally for Kids with Cancer live auction, and Kiss frontman Gene Simmons brought his big fat wallet.

“He bought a 18-karat gold sunglasses for $20,000, among other things,” said an attendee. Adding that on top of the blinged-out sunglasses, “Gene also donated a trip with his band when they travel on their tour,” complete with a package for 10 people to go backstage, which went for $100,000. By the end of the auction over $400,000 had been raised.
