While Stephanie Pratt was getting busted for drunk driving, I was getting my ass beat at Scrabble – but I got to sleep on a bed in a real house, and not on a cot in the big house.
As if being related to Spencer Pratt and having to appear on the totally scripted reality show The Hills on MTV wasn’t bad enough, Stephanie Pratt now gets to add DUI arrest to her resume.
“It was your basic DUI. Our traffic officers driving down the street spotted her and pulled her over,” Sgt. Sal Ogaz tells PEOPLE. “She was cooperative and there were no issues with her arrest.”
Police records show Pratt, 23, was arrested at 3:45 a.m., charged with a misdemeanor, and was transferred to the Van Nuys Jail for booking, where she was released around 10:30 a.m.
Earlier in the evening, Pratt was at Holly Montag’s birthday party at Empire, an L.A. nightclub. At 11 p.m. she Tweeted: “its my sissy @hollymontags bday party! just finished dinner and going to Empire but im pretty tired aka yes i am the party pooper.”
Sounds to me like Ms. Pratt should have gone home after she sent her little Tweet. Oops.

This is Stephanie’s second arrest in three years, by the by.
Spencer Pratt’s little sister started smoking pot at 15 and it all went down hill from there. “In a matter of months, I was on to other things … I was a blackout drinker too,” Stephanie has admitted.
In 2006 Stephanie Pratt was arrested in Honolulu, Hawaii along with a friend after they were accused of stealing $1,300 worth of merchandise from a Neiman Marcus department store.
It was then that Stephanie realized she had a problem.
“When I was arrested, I was so humiliated… because of all the drugs in me, I passed out and had to go to hospital, where I called my parents.”
“Getting arrested was a blessing,” Stephanie adds. “I don’t think I would have been able to get off drugs without that huge wake-up call.”
