Earlier this week I had no idea what I was going to do for Halloween night this Saturday (other than turn my clocks back an hour before I go to bed – don’t forget!). Now I have plenty of options, but still I have no clue as to what I’m going to wear.
I always seem to wait until the very last second to get my Halloween get up together. It annoys me to no end every year, yet I still seem to do it to myself every year. Some day when I’ve got a big ol’ house and lots of money I’m going to throw a big ol’ Halloween party.
I’ll definitely have to plan ahead for that!
I got an email this morning from someone over at WomansDay.com about all the great Last-Minute Halloween Party Ideas they’ve got on their site.
Here are some of my favorites, in alphabetical order:
Bewitching Bandanna Ghosts
Hang these easy-to-make spirits from houseplants, doorknobs or anything else you can think of for an instant fright factor. [Directions]
Dessert’s All Wrapped Up
These cute and simple mummy cakes are made with only three ingredients (Twinkies, frosting and M&M’s) and are ready in 30 minutes or less—no baking required. [Directions]
Ghoulish Guzzling
This green drink may look ghastly, but food color is what gives it a green tint. The rest is a tasty combo of seltzer and ginger ale; add gin or vodka, or any other clear alcohol, for an extra kick. [Directions]
Handy Sweets
These chocolate treats can be dipped in chopped nuts or colored sprinkles and are an elegant alternative to the usual kiddie fare. [Directions]
Monster Munching Madness
Gummy worms add the perfect touch to this crowd-pleasing party mix. It’s a perfect combo of salty and sweet that can be ready in 10 minutes flat. [Directions]
Take a Dip into the Dark Side
It’s a party classic: nacho bean dip, only with a creepy-crawly twist. Make it up to four hours ahead of time and pull it from the fridge when you’re ready to party. [Directions]
