Ok, that’s it, I’m convinced……every Senator and Congressman who is pushing anti-gay legislation is gay.
Experts say we hate in others what we hate in ourselves, and can’t help but think that rings true when it comes to anti-gay politicians.
Either they all need to come out of the closet or they need to stop hating on their own kind.
Enough is enough!
State Senator Roy Ashburn, who is a fierce opponent of gay rights, was arrested early Wednesday morning after leaving a gay nightclub. Read more on this interesting story below.
State Sen. Roy Ashburn (R-Calif.) was pulled over and arrested for drunk driving early Wednesday morning. And what makes this story all the more interesting is that Ashburn is a major opponent against gay rights, but was stopped after leaving a gay club and had an unidentified man in the passenger seat of his car. Busted!
Ashburn was quick to issue an apology for the incident:
“I am deeply sorry for my actions and offer no excuse for my poor judgment. I accept complete responsibility for my conduct and am prepared to accept the consequences for what I did. I am also truly sorry for the impact this incident will have on those who support and trust me – my family, my constituents, my friends, and my colleagues in the Senate.”
