Lady Gaga knows what it is to suffer for one’s art.
While performing earlier this month in New Zealand, Lady Gaga was overcome and almost fainted; during “Bad Romance” the singer literally laid down on the stage.
About a month before that Gaga postponed two U.S. dates due to exhaustion, and is said to have collapsed before a show in Indiana, admitting to feeling dizzy and “having trouble breathing.”
When asked about her performance in New Zealand, Lada Gaga blamed it all on jet lag.
“I was so jet lagged,” she told the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O on Friday. “I passed out about three times on stage that night but I got myself to the floor. I’d rather die on stage than walk off because I was going to pass out.”
Now that would be an awesome show! Not that I want Lady Gaga to die, I’m just sayin’.
One source fears that the pop star is suffering from the stress of her staggering fame. “She’s on the verge of tipping,” says the source. “She’s only human.”
