I must admit, I love it when people hate on Sarah Palin. Her existence is like nails on a chalkboard for me; I simply cannot stand her.
For some reason she’s been given a bunch of TV shows, one of which is Sarah Palin: Real American Stories. It is, of course, on the FOX News network.
LL Cool J, however, is not one of those Real American Stories – even though Palin’s ad implies he is. That did not sit well with the muscular rapper/actor and now he’s speaking out.
“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW.”
The brass cohunes people have astounds me sometimes. I mean, aren’t producers required to get permission from people before using their images in national TV ads? For crying out loud.
Anyway, FOX News has since released a statement saying LL Cool J has been removed from the Sarah Palin: Real American Stories promo. How generous of them.
Update Per PopEater: LL Cool J Removed From Sarah Palin-Hosted Show
In a snark-dripped statement issued to TV Newser, the cable news giant says, “As it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”
