Shae Lynn is like no other woman you will ever meet.
In her short yet remarkable life, Shae has become the CEO of VIP SOCIALITE, an Event Coordinator for Baby Loves Disco LLC, and a Preschool Teacher certified by the CA State Board of Education.
With over ten years of experience in the fashion, nightlife, and kid-friendly industries, Shae Lynn was forced to put her runway career on hold after a tragic fashion injury involving stiletto heels. This change of paths, however, opened a wonderful window for Shae – allowing her to pursue her true passion of establishing a solid fashion-forward scene in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Originally from Hollywood, CA, Shae Lynn has been fascinated with fashion ever since she was first introduced to Barbie & Ken. As a child, she would create couture fashion for her dolls using toilet paper and bubble wrap.
Shae Lynn’s fashion inspiration is a direct result of the super-classy women in her family. Namely her grandmothers Pearl Cole, Maurine Shirley, and Bertha Alcocer – who never left the house in anything less than a stunning dress with matching heals, fancy furs, diamonds or pearls, perfectly coiffed hair, a hint of blush, and lavish red lipstick.
The strong women in her family have also motivated Shae to help others, especially women trying to succeed in the fashion industry. Shae enjoys helping people pursue their dreams by promoting up-and-coming models, designers, and DJs, and in her down time, can be found volunteering at the local food pantry, helping to feed the homeless.
As a teenager Shae Lynn attended Barbizon as well as FIDM in downtown San Francisco, and since then has enjoyed working as a Visual Designer and Stylist. A highlight of Shae’s work is the fashion show at SNO Drift Nightclub in San Francisco she produced before she could even legally enter a nightclub!
Since Shae Lynn has been back in the Fashion Industry, she’s helped produce shows at Harlot, Supperclub, and Mighty, as well as Private Shoots & Trunk Shows.
Recently, Shae had the pleasure of working with Christopher Straub and Fashion Photographer Herm Pugay at a private photo shoot in San Francisco. She was also lucky enough to meet Betsey Johnson, and assist her with picking the perfect shower curtains for all the bathrooms in her home!
Shae Lynn is looking forward to the Fashion Fights AIDS San Francisco benefit fashion show on Friday, July 16th 2010, where she’ll be partnering with Face2FaceGlam, MIA Cosmetics, Paul Mitchell, and more!
