It seems like forever since I’ve done a book review. It’s nice to be doing them again – especially when I get to start with such a great story.
From Katie Salidas, the author of the super-sexy House of Immortal Pleasures comes Halloween Fantasies, another hot and steamy vampire adventure.
Side Note: Halloween Fantasies is for adult audiences only due to all the hot sex with multiple partners and graphic language some (boring) folks may find offensive. All sexually active characters in the story are 18 years of age or older.
Touted as the sexiest party of the year, the annual Halloween Fantasy Ball is the one place a girl can let loose and succumb to her wildest fantasies.
Disguised as a sexy vampire huntress, Sasha captures the attention of Dante, a real life creature of the night. For Sasha, meeting a bona-fide vampire is enough to fulfill one of her life long fantasies. She’s ready to go home a happy woman.
But Dante has other plans. It is after all, a night of fantasies, and he has a few of his own to share.

I always find it intriguing when a woman writes sexually charged books. I know that, as Hil put it so well, “boring” people do not enjoy books of this nature and tend to believe that these books don’t count as actual literature. Yet I believe that it must take more time and effort to come up with your stories than such people would give credit for. My question for Katie is where do you find your inspiration? Does it come from your own fantasies, personal experiences or simply the creativity of you mind?
Another great book by Katie Salidas.
The book’s premise is intriguing.
As for the lack of respect accorded erotica: Some readers (the ‘boring’ ones) demand respectability in their reading, but Ulysses, Lady Chatterly’s Lover, and the books of writers such as Henry Miller and Anais Nin have certainly earned critical respect over time.
Oh. My. God. There is a Halloween Fantasy and Fetish ball?! That sounds, well, intimidating for one, but like it would be a lot of fun!
I am an avid reader and believe that, similar to music, there are books for every mood. Books when I am feeling sad, happy, pissed off, etc. In that way I find that reading erotica out loud helps bring my boyfriend and I closer together and helps to expand our sexuality for each other.
This book sounds like it would be great to read wrapped in a blanket, drinking a glass of wine with a fire on!
This looks to be a very interesting read that I could easily share with all my gal pals….and even my soon-to-be mother-in-law….she is wild!
