Rutgers University Gave Snooki $32,000 To Speak. Seriously.

Are you friggin’ kidding me?? Rutgers University used student tuition money to pay Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi $32,000 for a single appearance at the school? That’s just crazy.

What’s even crazier is that it’s $2,000 more than Nobel-prize winning author Toni Morrison got.

The university’s Programming Association got the exorbitant amount of money from collected student activity mandatory dues, and according to school representative E.J. Mirandi, the decision to invite Snooki to the school was left up to the students.

“The student programming board gets feedback from the students about which kinds of people they would like to have come and speak at the university for entertainment purposes. The decision is made by the students.”

The event, which was dubbed ‘Inside the Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Studio’, included Snooki’s take on life-teaching topics such as hooking up with guido juiceheads, her infamous hair poof, and how she handles life in front of the cameras.

“If I’m ever annoyed at the camera, I’ll spray hairspray for five years. The only real way to get away from the camera is showering, so we take really long showers.”

Snooki’s overall message for the students, however, was a little more profound.

“Study hard, but party harder!”
