Here’s the deal… I’m really excited to see Magic Mike, but I’m also a bit conflicted about it. So AdTech SF 2012 started off with a bang for me on Tuesday. And by bang I mean a smash – as in I smashed my left index finger in my car door upon departure on foot from the parking garage. Congratulations to one of the cutest celebrity couples ever!! News hit the wires on Tuesday that actress Jennifer Garner had given birth to a boy, her third child with husband, actor Ben Affleck. Although he was rudely out-scooped by media outlets, Ben Affleck took to his Facebook page today to confirm his family’s newest arrival and let us all know that Samuel Garner Affleck was born on Monday, February 27th. The name Samuel is definitely the most traditional of their children’s names. While I love the names Violet and Seraphina, it’s nice to see Jennifer and Ben didn’t... 

The rumor mill is going full force this morning with the news that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of Jersey Shore fame is pregnant. Yes, I’m very frightened too. Although the reality star has yet to formally announce that she is indeed with child, it’s beginning to look like the chatter is based in fact. The father of the child, by the way, is Jionni LaValle (whoever he is). According to sources close to the situation, Snooki is hoping to use her pregnancy to become “the next Kourtney Kardashian” and has hammered out a deal with Us Weekly after shopping the story around... 

It’s a sad, sad moment in music history today. Davy Jones has died of a heart attack at the age of 66. The Martin County, Florida medical examiner’s office confirmed with TMZ this morning that Martin Memorial Hospital had indeed informed of the passing of Jones. The British singer is survived by his wife Jessica and four daughters from previous marriages.
